My Ride: 2004 530i, Silver Gray, Premium Pkg, Cold Weather package, Black Leather seats with lumbar support, Poplar wood finish.
Mods: M6 19" wheels with 245/35/19 Front Tires 275/30/19 Rear Tires, K&N Filter, H&R Sway bars, Magnaflow Muffler, Sprint Booster, Black front grill, M-tech front bumper, Debadged
Got the H&R sway bars today that I had ordered online for my 04-530 (non-sport).
I am looking for a shop in Seattle area to install them.
Question: Is the sway bar installation a complicated/specialized procedure that I need to pay big bucks to a performance shop for? OR can I take it to a good auto shop that does suspension work and just have them put in the H&R sways?
I don't necessarily want to pay big $$ to the install unless thats the best way to go.
any help is appreciated!

thanks - I have a quote for about $350 from a BMW performance shop...and it seemed high for just swapping swaybars!
vsark - I've got a non-sport as well...will the sway bars make a big difference? What do sway bars cost? Thanks

I haven't got them installed yet, but I believe they make huge difference on handling.

Thanks - look forward to your reviews.
Got the sway bars installed yesterday and have been cornering the car ever since .. What a difference!!!
its a 1000 time improved from the stock bars..and there is a HUGE improvement in the body roll. I have kept it at the hardest setting.
I highly recommend this simple mod....it will transform your ride!

Sounds like something I need to do. Thanks for the update. What was the cost to install?
