Here it is...!

Attachment 4420

You can leave the bar in place as it's sculpted to the shape of the seat...

Attachment 4421

You can see the mat underneath the seat further protecting the leather

How much do they cost. I only need one but if I leave it in the car I rather have two so it matches.

Hi

The mat protecting the leather underneath the child seat - does this come with the isofix guide?
Is it supplied by BMW or did you get it from the local Auto store?
How much is it?
If BMW supply - do you know the part number?

Pete

Yes, where did you get the mat underneath? I sometimes use a towel when I do tote the little ones and it is a little bit of an eyesore.

I am also interested in the part-number for the mat. Anybody?

Also, what is the benefit of the ISO-fix plastic bar? Why not hook the car-seat into the ISO-fix hooks directly?

The way it seems to work is that you clip the black plastic bar into the iso-fix hooks of the car, and then you clip the car seat into the black bar? Or into the car hooks?

I dont think the mat is from BMW

The ISOFIX Bar protect the leather around the attachment points and makes it easier to inseart the seat nto them.

The bar sits around the atachment points making a nice open hole for the seat clips to move through to get to the attachemnt points

I PM'd colejl and the mats can be sourced from a UK website:

'Kidicare' --->Here!

I'm not sure whether they ship to the US.

Good luck

Also available from Halfords - found one yesterday.
