Someone on here posted pics of their wheels with the BMW Roundel valve stem caps. Someone asked the guy whether they were stolen frequently and he said "no", they can't be stolen without the key" or something like that.
I asked my dealer and he said that's BS (as far as he knows). Anyone have these out there? Is there a way to lock them on? Sounds a little far fetched to me. I like the way they look, but I can totally see them being stolen the first week.

The ones I have can't be stolen .. it's true.
I've been busy later but I can take one off and post a closeup picture in an attempt to explain why. It's quite a simple design but I can't explain it.

Thanks, Mark. A part number would be great too.

Here's something I found with the BMW Valve Stem.
They scratch my rims, yes I just noticed slight scratchs around the stem.
I have style 128 rims , not sure they scratch other styles.

Hey,
Here's some pics.. I dont know how to explain it in text but ill try. There's a little plastic edge sticking out and this is where you tighten it on with the plastic "key". When you turn the cap nothing happens, it just rotates, you have to grab ahold of of that thin plastic piece to remove it which is impossible without the key.
I don't think these are made by BMW but by some third party vendor. I got them from the dealer though.
