Looks like Pirelli have expanded their Eufori@ range (as used on Mini/3-series) to include E60 sizes... I note they now produce a 245/35/R19 and 275/30/R19 - joy!? :thumbsdown: Dunlop
The Eufori@'s where noted for their ride quality... I wonder how long before they become OEM!?
p.s. They're not cheap! (24% more expensive than PS2's!)

I'm by no means a runflat lover, but if Pirelli comes out with some 20" runflats I may get them. The only reason I say that is because of my trek form Washington to Michigan every 3 months. It would suck pretty bad to get a flat while on that drive, to say the least. I'm not really the biggest fan of the Dunlops though, I had them on 17's and wasn't too impressed.

I guess 99.9% of E60 owners don't like RFT. If they had a choice b/w RFT and non-RFT, I'm sure they'll go for non-RFT. Reasons:
1. Less weight
2. Better ride quality
3. Easy fix compared to non-RFT

My car is now on Pirelli Eufori@ 245/40R19 and 275/35/R19.
While travelling from my home to Amsterdam, in Wien I have felt some vibration from the back. So I've turned towards the first dealer in Wien. They checked the rear axle, and test driven the car. They said it's probably the tires but they don't have the Bridgestone runflats on stock. They instructed me to stop in Salzburg the next morning and check a dealer there as they are very close to BMW tire warehouse and they could get my replacement tires in an hour. Not so... They didn't have it on stock and they said they could get it in 4-5 days. Well, I needed to go to Amsterdam...
So I called BMW Assist number in Munich. I've told them that I will stop in Munich to search for 2 19" Bridgestone RFTs for replacing my back tyres. They searched throughout all the dealers on my way from Salzburg to Amsterdam and could not find one to have the tires I needed.
They said to call BMW Rader und Reifen Zentrum in Garching, nord of Munich, as they could get the tires for the next day. I've decided to stop there and have my rear Bridgestones checked anyway, and replace them with brand new ones on my way back.
Unfortunately the guys in Garching, did not let me leave their shop after they saw the damage to the back tires I've had.
The rims were not damaged, the front tires were ok, just the rear tires were damaged on the inside. Exploded is the best word I would say. Big chunks of rubber on the inside and no apparent damage on the outside. These were the original OEM RFT Brigdestone tires, with 14.000 km on them at that point.
So my only option was to look for another brand of tires and replace all my 4 tires. They had on stock Pirelli Eufori@. So now I have these tires on my car and no vibration in the back.
Sorry for the long post, but this is another problem with RFTs. Availability. If I could not find the tire I needed all across Germany, then it is surely a problem.
