well, I got the bulbs installed. Couldn't do it on my own - didn't wanna break the precious Alpina front, so I went to my indie shop a few blocks away, so that we could lift the car, take off the wheels and swap these things fast. Well, that is done, but while on the lift, I noticed my plastic underside panel - the big one up front that is directly under the front of the engine - is cracked and has some oil stains on it. The guys at the shop looked at it and couldn't find where the oil was coming from, but its definitely there, so guess what now... gonna start looking at this sometime next week probably - gotta wash everything in that area down and wait for stains to re-appear to see where the oil is leaking. Honestly, I thought it was the power steering hose (since its wet and its directly behind the area where the underside cover is cracked), but the guys at the shop said that the stains look like oil - not power steering fluid. So, I guess, I may have to have the lifters done in the worst case...

Here's a pic of the fogs that I took with the phone cam:
Going to try to replace the fogs with the Hoens-photo-2-.jpg

Honestly, they look exactly as I expected they to look, which is good

Well, I am more of a 6000k fog light person but the yellow fogs do go well with Alpine White.

Sorry to hear that your ride may have an oil leak.

I've yet to see how they work at night. I actually expected them to be a bit brighter than the way they appear in daylight. We'll see.
