Has anyone had this happened? I recently moved to Las Vegas and once I hit the highway a week later it started flapping 5 mins later it flew off. This has happened to almost all my glossy black strips and looks horrible considering half of them are missing.
I found the following on ebay: does anyone have experience with this item or one similar?

Thanks guys

This should be in the E60 forum, not the F10 forum...
Having said that, no never seen this before. Is it a non-OEM application over the chrome trim?

Yeah I'm sorry about that I realized that after I posted.
Well I bought the car 2 years ago and the vinyl covers appear to be stock they say BMW there not just blank they actually say "BMW" on them. It's an 04' and when BMW put these on I'm pretty sure they were not made to withstand 120 temps over 6 years.

You can buy the tint overlays on ebay or call a tint shop and ask them if they do it. I bought the overlays and had a tint guy install for me.
If your interested in the overlays for the pillars I finally found the ones with BMW logo's which made me believe they were OEM stock when I couldn't find the part number I was going crazy.
