Hey all,

New to the forums, just wanted to say hi. Picked up a 2010 535xi, Monaco Blue/Beige interior.

I'm starting to get a little anxious and need to start modding my car. I'm looking for a vendor to get shadowline (matte black) trim and later down the line, mtech kit. Tisher charges $300+ shipping for the shadowline, and that just seems way too much for small trim pieces. I don't want to wrap either.

Does anyone have a contact at a dealer? Thank you!

Contact nerweezy or trinity autosport. That's where I got my trim from.

Thanks guys, I'll just grow a pair and plastidip. Hard to argue against a $7 mod.

Is plastidip smooth to the touch or does it have a rough finish to it similar to Rhino lining etc?

From my experience, it was somewhat smooth, but not as smooth as say a professional paint job. From reading other posts in another thread, if you hold the spray closer (say 6" or so) the finish will come out smoother.

When I plastidipped a set of wheels a few weeks ago, we sprayed from about 8-10" and the finish did come out a bit grainy to the touch.
