I've got something similar from navwithtv.com coming to me. Price was $499 (US). I called nav-tv.com and they quoted $1400. How much was yours? The only down side to the mac is the video card is only 32MB. I guess if it runs DVD, that should be fine.

mine was about $600 US it has 2 video inputs and a built in tv-tuner. it is coming from Germany but they are having problems with the tv-tuner i hope it will come soon though.

one problem is does the mac have any video output besides the computer or the dv out. i need a rca video out. (i think that is what it is called. the yellow video cord.)

i think you just need to buy a converter. you should be able to get one in any bigger computer stores.

actually, there is a compact video out cable.

From Apple website:

"Let Mac mini Entertain You

Show off your latest pictures, movies and music on your kitchen TV with the S-Video/composite video adapter. Bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse make it easy to move your Mac mini to any room of the house. Connect to iTunes and iPhoto on other Macs over an optional AirPort wireless network."

anyone done this in an E60? I don't have my 545i anymore, but did this in my M45:

We want to do another install in my friends 525i, but there are not many convenient places to put the Mac-Mini.... any ideas?

What are the possibilities here?? Could you run a TV tuner in the MAC?? So you might have the unit from navwithtv.com connected to a clarion av splitter with mac providing DVD as well as TV??
