Just wondering, has anyone use this Angel Eyes from Umnitza for e60 LCI?
Is it brighter than GP Thunder 8500 ?
Thanks

The genesis are utterly useless. Trust me! I have tried a bunch and I now have HID's from brabus.

It's much brighter than any GP Thunder.
It's a good quality unit that will not burn anything out.

Because it doesn't wash out the high beam.

HID angel eyes are problematic in that no one knows what the long term usage of these kits is like.

have you tried the Genesis? They aren't the brightest, but utterly useless?

If you guys REALLY want the HID AE installed - they are only $99-125 depending on the quality of ballast you want.
Give us a call, we have many available.

comaprison pics of genesis to gp thunder's?r even oem ae bulbs?

also, are you saying you have an hid ae set-up? tested and free from error? I know for a fact that not just any h8 hid kit will not work for lci ae's....

that is why brabu's lci hid ae kit is the only out there that sells and actually works, he developed and tested it himself to make sure his kit retains all OEM function....can you please provide more info on your HID AE kit please...

There are about many different people that sell HID kits that work for various prices from $99 on up to $275.
This isn't rocket science, it's a simple resistor setup for the LCI models that allows everything to work properly.
You're right, it's not just an H8 kit that works.

No offense meant to Brabus or you, but we introduced the HID LCI upgrade system for the E92/E60 back in 2007 (posted later Jan 2008) when the LCI models first came out for the E92 then later for the E60.

There are just too many downsides to the HID system that we didn't like.

There are comparisons of the Genesis to the GP on M5board, can't find them now but they are there.

but have you fitted an lci e60 with your hid set-up...even hid kits for e90's won't work correctly on e60 lci's....I've had personal experience with 2 kits made for e90's and did not work on my lci e60....if my lease was not ending in december my current e60 would definitely have brabus's kit, just because that's the only kit i've seen tested and worked properly on an e60...

brabus even mentioned that his e90 and e60 kits have different wiring IIRC
