DTW is a reputable vendor. I have purchased OEM wheels from them and never had a problem. As a matter of fact, the last one I bought only required one 1/8 ounce weight to balance. Some of that's the tire, but still that's a pretty true wheel.

Thanks for the feedback and good to hear. Is most of the refurbing they do cosmetic or straightening? I am worried about wheels they may have been badly damaged or have had cracks.

But great to hear you've had a good experience with them.

It really depends. Some have good experience and some don't. Just be careful and do research before purchasing. GL

I bought a 124 from them and I believe it had been repaired for a dent on the inner lip and then completely refinished and painted. They guarantee against cracks, so I doubt they deal with anything too serious. Based on my experience, I don't think DWT would sell anything potentially dangerous. They seem like pretty straight shooters to me. BTW: that 124 was purchased in Feb '08 to replace one I'd curbed (I could have had it redone cheaper, but there was a wait and DWT was willing to overnight it for a very reasonable fee), and it still looks and performs like new. 2 cents.

I had 123s that I bought from Stylezzza refurbished by Wheelfixit in Freeport, Long Island. They looked as good as factory new post-refurbishment. Pre-refurbishment they were scratched up and one had a small bend. I am using them as my winter wheels. If I have a bad experience with them this winter, I'll post about it.
