I've driven on my GE UHP for a couple days now. Noticeably smoother and quieter than factory runflats.

Get them, they are a great buy.

The GE UHP tires performed quite well in triple digit speed on straight-aways and corners. I had the utmost confidence while performing maneuvers.

Do any of the people who installed these tires 6 months ago have updated opinions on the tires?

Thanks,

I know some members have the GE UHP tires on their cars. Can you please provide some feedback on your experience(s) with them so far?? I'm thinking about purchasing them because the price is half of the Michelin PS2's and other brand names. But I'm afraid of the old saying "why put cheap tires on a nice car".
They are great. Unless you plan on doing some track days with your car or driving extremely aggressive all the time, these tires do a great job. I wouldn't spend the money on PS2's. I would put the money elsewhere on the car. Just my 2 cents...

Many months later, and the tires are still great. Here in Florida, with all of the rain, I get great stick with the GEs. Most of the roads are cement, and the tires do good to reduce noise.

One poster complained about quick wear once, but that could be many things related to that particular poster. I believe that the treadwear rating is high, and I am getting expected good wear.

For all of the replica wheel purchasers out there, get the OEMs, and save your money with these tires.

Thanks,
I drove wih the Exclaims in the summer and winter on my old '04 Maxima. They were great in the snow...better than the Goodyear OEM all-seasons. I had no problems sloshing through some slippery drives home from work (FWD, mind you). They are somewhat softer than your usual summer tires, so like C said, they aren't exactly track material. Great tire for the money....would buy again.
