i replaced the stock front turn signals with bright white/silver coated bulbs to match the xenons but they are not bright enough. turn signals are about 6-7k. i bought them from some no name company on ebay but my prob is i replaced my factory xenon bulbs with 8k color and added hid fogs with 8k color. ive been through 2 sets of turn signals but cant get a good match. any suggestions??? anyone found a good match for 8k color?

Depending on the brand, it's possible that the set you purchased have a thick mirror coating on them to make them clear when off. If this mirror coating is too thick, it will severely decrease brightness on the bulb and make them largely invisible. The Solaris Bulbs we carry do have a mirror coating on them to make them clear when off but the reason we carry this brand is that the coating is thin enough to allow a substantial amount of usable light when illuminated. The effect is a bulb that is clear when off but is still plenty bright for everyday use.

Another option are the LED turn signal bulbs we carry which are clear when off and blink in either amber or xenon white. These are 32 LED bulbs that illuminate multidirectionally so they light the entire housing rather than being focused forward.

I bought the same kind of bulbs for my car too and they were WAY TOO dim to be useful or safe, so I ditched them! I'm running stock for now, but it would be nice to be able to pull the yolk out of the eggs!

You can use resistors for your turn signal. Have you seen my thread about LED turn signal's? I believe that's what you're exactly looking for.

The color is not that blue, but more white, which matches my xenon's, which is 6000k in temperature.

The darn camera always deceives people. You can always see it in real life. Come meet up with us for NYC meet sometime.

That's a really clean install, I am just worried that the plastic zip tie will melt on the resistor.

Ah, that's been addressed. =)

Since the light only blinks when signaling and is not on constantly, it won't ever get hot. Problem solved itself. =)
