Guys i wanted to share this with you guys. Easy and cheap, i went to my local Office Depot and picked up a Elmer's Painters Metallique Silver Paint Marker. This Mod is probably the cheapest in price you will ever do to your e60. Cost $4.10.
Steps.
1. Clean the surface of the girlls with a rag damped lightly with degreaser, then clean off with dry clean rag.
2. Shake the pen when then press down on the tip till paint soaks tip on a piece of card board or paper.
3. Start form the top of the grill, with gental strokes downward the bottom.
4. After applied to all let it dry in the sun perferably for about a hour or so and apply a second coat.

i'll remove them and spray them if i were to paint them. the markers are for what you did.. detail work.. you'll get streaks if you tried painting the chrome part with the paint markers..
