front bumper ... repaint or replace?

I have to repair my 2008 528i front bumper prior to a lease turn in later this year. A few too many curb scuffs...mainly under the front lip, but also one on the side corner from cutting a parking lot curb too close.
Anyway, purely for a lease turn in cosmetic repair, I went to Maaco and go a quote for $450 to remove, fix, repaint, install.
How does that sound and what are my options in the aftermarket? Can I buy a new pre-painted front bumper that appears stock to use? I can install it myself, but certainly cannot paint it..
Thoughts welcome.

I think you are talking about the front bumper, correct? If so there have been a ton of people who have upgraded to Mtech front bumpers and are looking to sell....or even give away, their old ones. I believe you can find a thread if you search for it. I am quite sure you could find a few in your color and maybe one would sell it for just the shipping to free up some garage space.

My 528i is Monaco blue metallic with NO PDC.
I will search for this. thx.

Get a guarantee on the paint quality and match, as BMW hires a third party company to inspect lease turn-ins. 45 min inspection, and everything is on video tape. Be prepared to contest some of the findings.
If you can, have dealer inspect vehicle, in my opinion. If you drop it off, make sure you get a signature that all is in order.
Otherwise, it could cost you thousands. Also, after I dropped off one vehicle and it sat at dealership for a week, someone dented fender. Paperwork saved me.
