I have a question about this.
What kind of bulbs do we have for the foglamps? H7 or H1?

The thing is i want to change them to real xenon and a guy here asks for 540$+VAT for 2 xenon bulbs that indeed are xenon and they light up like xenon too (seen on a focus). But isn't that too much?
He says they work with the americans from Target.

What do you think?

Dude, I'll get you a full kit, REAL xenons with ballasts and igniter, plus resistors for OBC error correction for around 10,000 - 12,000 baht, which is approximately 300USD. 500+ for two bulbs is just too much to ask!!

I hate when people see a nice car (wich here the e60 is a nice car) and admit then that they can take you as a money thrower fool.

500 is too much...
why not try regular xenon looking bulbs at the same temp as our oem xenons.. many members have dont that i think it costs arounf 50-70$, see if you like those,, our foglight bulbs are
"9006 / HB4"
" 55w / 51w"

Hmm i would like the closest thing there is out there. I don't know how 50-100$ lights look like when the main beam is lit.

No matter the temperature, without an igniter or ballast, it'll never look like real xenon. As for product link and page, I can't seem to find them on the net, but if I get a chance, I'll go take a picture of it from a shop. 200-300 is very cheap for xenon and you're getting the real deal. Try this site http://www.bmwoptions.com/ its a Thai site, but most of it is in English, as for the xenon price, its around 10,800 for their best one, but if you want the ones with resistors, its a bit more, but won't be over 12,000. Check it out. if you're interested mail the seller or if you need my help, I'll go get it and send it to you.

I converted mine to real HID xenon foglights. I got the entire kit from CarLab for $280. I had upgraded my stock xenon bulbs to 6000K so my foglight xenon conversion is also 6000K.

The factory bulb is 9006 which I think is equivalent to an H4 bulb (not sure). A few people on this forum have simply purchased PIAA Xtreme White bulbs in either 4150K, 4300K or 4700K to closely match their stock xenon light shade. The PIAA bulbs are xenon-look and a lot cheaper at about $50-$75 but nothing comes close to real HIDs.

Here's a pic of my set up:

our FOGLIGHT bulbs are "HB4" 51W but they are also equivalent as "9006" 55W so those will fit two..
