actually not too long at all to install. i just loosened about 5 black bolts and 2 blue screws underneath, once the bottom plastic was moving, i just pulled it down, not totally removing it...reached my hand in and switched it out. about 15 min. i had to turn the wheels a couple of times to get to the inner screws in the wheel well...other than that, i'd say it was a breeze.

did you leave the black o ring of the piaa's in? or did you replace it with the red ring? i hope i screwed it back on tight.

the cls looks good i think. might trade the e class in for a cls55...wonder how much that'll be...80K US?

good to hear it worked out fine . and for the rings, i don't remember i did anything about them . so they should be the same as they came in.

base price for the cls is about $70k and i'm quite sure a base cls55 will be close to $90k <_<.

hmmm...i don't think so. i think he has a 530 and the kidney grilles are chrome on the ring and black on the vertical inserts.

here are couple pics of the new cls65, not 55. it looks pretty hot ! that thing has a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine and will put out over 600 horsepower, with prices expected to start in the mid-$80,000 range, which is a little less than what i expected .
