I am looking at a set of E39 M5 aftermarket wheels and wanted to know if these specs would fit my E60 M5.
The wheels are 20x8 Fronts, and 20x9.5 Rears.
The tires are 235/30/20 front 285/25/20 rears .
I know I will be needing rings to fit my E60 72.56 bore into a E39 74.1 bore.
Will I need spacers to clear my brakes?
If I need spacers, will bore rings work with hub centric spacers?
Thanks.

Not sure but just wondering why you'd go for a narrower wheel in the front compared to your stocks?

Well, I found a nice set of DPE Forged wheels for a great deal, and thought if these fit, then I could use spacers to get a more aggressive look.

Yeah but you're reducing the contact patch of the front wheels thereby decreasing traction and handling performances a bit. I would just be patient till you find some wheels made for the E60 M5.

they should fit, my 19" DPE's came off a e39 M5 all I had to get was hubcentric rings because the bore size was bigger on the e39, but I have a 530i not an m5

I also think you're going to run into balancing problems between using spacers and hub centric rings....
not really actually, ive done it before
get hubcentric spacers and any hub rings will work, i never had any balancing issues because i made it was hubcentric

mine are 19's and they fit over a e39 m5 with big brake kit, I don't think you will have issues with 20's over your stock e60 m5 brakes, you can see from my sig pic how much space there is still between the brakes and the rims on my car.
