Guys,

I think this should work, but I need someone to double check. Will a 20x9 wheel(all around) with a 40 Offset, fit a 05 530 with rear wheel drive? What is the max tire you can fit in the front?

Thanks

This has been discussed ad nauseum - however, the max for non-M5 E60's in front is 245/30/20 - the rears? It depends, most here run 275/25/20 but others have 285 or 295 without problems, it will depend on the tire brand I suppose. That +40 offset is a bit extreme for the non-Xi models though, not sure I would get those wheels.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the wheels

Some are even running 255/30/20 fronts. It works, depending on your offset.

What about wheel spacers? Maybe 10mm in the front, 20mm in the back? Guys know any good deals out there on spacers?

You will need wheel spacers with extended wheels studs. Honestly, any spacers above 15mm is a bit unsafe, 20mm is pushing it depending on your style of driving. I would just go and buy the proper wheel offset rather than getting really big wheel spacers. If you must, contact Trinity Autosports as they carry wheels spacers made for our cars. Goodluck!

40mm offset might rub on the inside with 9inch wide 20s. But you can always put some spacers on, I guess... still, I'd suggest a more conservative offset if you have a RWD car.
