Well, i finally installed the first mods in my 550i and i'm glad i did.... First of all, the Sprint Booster was AWESOME!!! I have the auto trans without the smg and the sprint booster still made a huge difference although there was a thread about the SB only worth it for the manual and smg, but it worked perfectly with the auto aswell so i recommend it. It really makes you realize that you have a V8 and actually gives u immediate control of the power..all i can say is wow!
I also got the RPI scoop and BMC filter from trinity autosport and its amazing. Thanks NeRwEEzy for all the help

Nice choice in mods i believe!!

Does the SB REALLY make that much of a difference? I've always been very sceptical when it comes to mods like this! As for the RPI Air intake system, have you found that really good? I am doing that mod to my M5 in the new year, and would be nice to hear some feedback from someone who has JUST fitted it.

Question, the RPI scoop..

Where'd you buy from? I hear its about 90 bucks, right? I been trying to do a search on "RIP Scoop Installation" and coming up empty. This sounds like a great mod and I'm curious if it adds more horsepower than floor-mat removal?

They also have the BMC air filter + scoop bundled pkg either way try start at:

http://shoprpi.com/product_info.php?cPath=...;products_id=95
https://www.trinityautosport.com/merchantma...products_id=232

and the install:

http://raceprecision.com/forums/view...php?f=13&t=119

And yeah... Dyno proven for HP increase and you can keep the floor mats in.

GL!
