sorry guys, but i say this with the utmost respect, we took the time to open up more than one set in order to perfect this mod and we are offering it now at the shop as a service. the only thing i can offer is to complete the mod for you (PM me if interested) beyond that you're gonna have to open up your own pricey ($500+ used) taillights at the risk of ruining them to figure it out gents
for those who may be interested the seal is 100%, its something we have perfected on headlights and its done in a very clean manner. its not jagged or nasty, we understand that all parts of the vehicle should be aesthetically pleasing as possible even if its something that's hidden when the trunk is closed

I've seen this done by a few guys on the E46 and E90 forums. Its an easy mod to complete if you feel like opening your tails. If anyone is interested in a DIY check out E90post.

respectfully this is something different. if it were just opening them up and spray painting....i would just post a DIY or tell people that
but then again, hey its not rocket science so im sure many of your are more than able to figure it out if youre willing to invest $500 in a set of LCI tails to try it out....it took me more than one set of lights to get it where it was good enough to share with the group.
happy modding guys!
