My Ride: 02/2006 525i Titanium Silver Metallic Manual 6-Speed
Default

Hey Guys,

I have been working to fix the little things on my 5 to get it back to near 100% condition. Luckily I picked a pretty good car. There isn't much that needed to be fixed/replaced. I figure I better do these little things before I start saving for the bigger ticket items.

Please excuse the pic quality, took with cell phone.

First off, I ordered the rear bumper reflectors because looking at the little painted panels that were in there was pissing me off.

Looks a lot better now IMO:

Next, I had to replace my shift knob. My car had the chrome/leather knob and the fake chrome was peeling off on all sides. It really looked like crap.. So, I got on ebay and ordered an ZHP knob:

Lastly, my turn signal side markers were yellowed and faded pretty bad. I tried cleaning them up, but eh... So I just replaced them with OEMs:

I'm still on CPO warrenty till April 2012, so I will probably wait on doing some mods... But I can't wait to do the LCI lighting swap, and CCC to CIC full upgrade That's whats on top of my mod list

Anyway, next on list is RPI scoop, and BMS PB Start small and work your way up!

Just thought I'd share-

Patrick

Shadowline and blackout grilles.. It gives the car a more sportier look and they are pretty inexpensive mods.

I would take the pin stripe off. The car will look much cleaner that way. Congrats on the mods.

Thanks for the advice guys. I removed pin-stripe Sunday. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner.... But, what can I say? My ride looks a lot better without it IMO.

I'll try to snap a shot later if the weather clears up.

Get some fly wheels bro. Best single mod you can do in terms of appearance.
