Orion V2 AEs. LCI taillights with Ricky effect. LED interior lights. LED license plate light. HID fogs. Smoked LED side markers. White cluster mod. Coding. RPI scoop & BMC filter. Gloss black OEM grills.CF interior trim. B&B exhaust.
I'm just not happy with my AEs.

I'm curious - carbon fiber hood on a car that weighs 1800 kg.... Are you looking to cut 1/10 sec of the quartermile or is this primarily a styling thing?

Haha, I did it for the style man. I have a few performance mods, but reality is I am not a track guy so the weight reduction is just an added plus.

Here's another pic taken on Sunday. This picture has the chrome slants in the grille. Which do you guys think look better? I am leaning towards the all gloss black because of the hood.

I did that on my car with gloss black grills and I think it looks great.
IMO on your car being black the all black grills kinda disappear.
The chrome stands out nicely.

I gave it more a go this morning, but seems like it wasn't doing anything. I went back to old pics I have with the stock hood, and looks like the gap size is the same. I am thinking it's probably because the CF contrast is making it more visible. One of those things that after you see it, can't be unseen (unfortunately).
