The car is an 08 550i with msport package, removed the stock muffler, removed the rear resonator and added a Magnaflow muffler where the resonator was, then 2.5 pipes all the way out with custom tips.

Let me know if you need any info, i will be adding a clip of cold start, idling and high revs.

 

What does it sound like. Is it a loud drone in the cabin. I need to add an exhaust but lost as to what direction I should go.

 

There is absolutely no droning, it has a deeper sound to it more like a muscle car.

Thanks for the thread and giving me the motivation to get this done. I ordered a Borla ProXS muffler. I'm going to delete the resonator and go 2 pipes all the way back to the muffler. I purchased a dual inlet/outlet Borla miuffler. I'll let you know how it sounds.

 

You won't be disappointed as long as its done right you'll love it.
