Very interesting, just kind of funny, you don't usually hear "portable" and "165lbs" in the same sentence. Other than me, how many others can lug around 165lbs?

honestly... think this could be a nice investment for smaller/indy shops as well that only have 1 or 2 lifts...
or if you have a group of 3 or 4 friends that want to split one and just rotate use....

A small shop would use something more like this... http://www.carguygar...olowricarl.html as a additional lift, although a little bit heavier duty.

Absolutely agree Gene, I actually am planning on getting a lift for my garage (I love working on cars) - just the wife sys kitchen remodel first, you know how that goes

Your model is great for home use, I just would never use a unit such as that for lets say 20 lifts a day in a shop environment, too slow for flat raters like I used to be.
