I want to thank all the many e60 members that helped me by providing all the answers I needed. I used the search feature a lot. A few of the members that influenced my look are Lomag, ryclark, jsal, SubterFUSE, and rodybmw. It helped that SubterFUSE and rodybmw has the exact same color and model as mine. So, I got the chance to preview their mods before deciding whether to include it in mine. And if you all look, the only difference between my car and SubterFUSE & rodybmw are my rims. Thanks again guys for sharing!

jiio, the car looks amazing I love the whole package. I know what you mean with the mod bug- I thought I'd start with one thing and go slow and all of a sudden I'm ordering like mad. Good luck to you on working the performance mods.

Looks great all around.

It's difficult to avoid feeding the mod bug.

Hi all,
Just got back from the BMW rally in Santa Barbara aka bimmerfest 2006. What a long day! Got some good feedback about my car. One was that it would appear I would not have to lower my car. Looks fine as is. Another suggestion is to add spacers to the rear to make the tires flush with the wheel well. I agree for a well balanced look but I'm a little hestitant. Nevertheless, I will give it a shot. There goes that mod bug biting again! Will probably add 15mm spacers. I have heard from members here that spacers can be bad. Got to find out for myself.

As for performance mods, Singh Autosports and Eurobahn offer the same re-mapping of the ECUs for $799. They were actually at the same vendor booth. I was told they (Eurobahn) can do it in a couple of hours while you wait if you were to take your car in. There is no kind of soldering involved. I guess I will look into Upsolute as well as another option. I'm not holding my breath for Dinan to offer anything soon. Powerchip was being distributed by Evosport for $1490. Umm... pass. Damn mod bug, stop biting me!

On a side note, I will be posting all the pictures of the e60s I saw at the rally as well as some questionable badges on some cars. I recognised jsal's beast and met Merzbow. Merzbow, your car rocks! He turned up the bass to the point my hair was vibrating

Perfect look. Your monster is awesome!!

My advice: Put a 12-14 mm spacers at the rear wheels. (at least 10mm)
Then, your back view will be wider - sportier - wilder.

Sawadee kup 525iSE,
In addition to the M-tech body and M5 rims, I have the M5 rear lip spoiler and trunk cover. Notice that my keyhole is gone.
Absolutely fantastic job. Wow makes me speechless

Wonderful eye for detail, your david copperfield act for your key hole

Is it just moved behind the licenseplate, or did you get rid of it alltogether?
