My door pillars are looking extra terrible these days. Discolored, scratches, you name it it's on there. Anyone know where they sell covers that go right over them? Not looking for chrome or carbon fiber ones on eBay, just OEM look or black gloss look would be nice.

+1 on the painting, I don't have the need, but if that time comes this is what I would do as well.
NAPA and paint auto supply stores carry a nice rattle can of automotive type paint for plastics and other materials. I think the cost is around 15.00 but less than 20.00. Just avoid and cheap crap for other places. I can't remember off hand what the trims are made from without going and having a look. But once you know, then mention this to the counter person so they can help with the correct paint. If its a plastic material its advisable to also use adhesion promotor. It just like spraying a coat of clear on something and it will help the new paint adhere much better. Have the counter guy get you a scotchbrite pad that you can scuff the panel with or use a wet/dry 600. You can also ask for a pre-cleaner to wipe the panels off with before you scuff and again before you paint. If they don't have anything small you can use alcohol just not Jack Daniels... I believe a ratio of 60:40 alcohol to water will be enough. Tape everything up well, and follow the can instructions. I personally would try to locate a Satin Black. Flat and gloss in my opinion would be a little too much on either end. But of course its your car and you can go with what ever you want.

I need to fix mine as well, mine are kinda scratched up. I was wondering if I could replace the trim instead of getting a cover. I didn't have good luck buying the carbon fiber ones off ebay. They looked like s*** and didn't fit.

When I got t-boned, that piece got all scratched up and the shop painted it and it was perfect finish even with the matt black look. Because it is such a small part, maybe not cost too much to have the body shop paint it?

Actually that is what I did...
:l
When I took my car into to get some parts painted.
I just told them to paint the pilars gloss black to match my tint.
Not it looks pretty seamless, which looks pretty sweet to me.
Not sure how much it would be to do it alone though.
