Its not wrong to surgest that KN filteres have some positive effect, we can discouse if its so little that its not worth the effort, but i would like to hear if anyone have negative expirience with changing the firlter on at E60 diesel.
The effect should be more power on a gasolin engine and more economy on a Diesel, i once owned a 7 series E38 1996 model on diesel, the expirience was amasing, arround 8-10% bette diesel economy and no problems at all.

But alot has happend, when i brows this forum i can se one 530D that has experienced some problems, but is there som generel problems changing the filter on a E60 and has anyone got better Dieseleconomy out of it ?
