All:

The time has come to upgrade my exhaust from stock to a quad setup. I already have an idea of the exhaust setup but am stumped on tip ideas. I know I have seen some really nice exhaust tips on fellow member's cars. Can anyone send me pics of their exhaust tips, size and where I can get them from. Your help is greatly appreciated. So many styles out there and I am lost. Thank you all in advance.

M5 stock is 3" slanted. I think it's also angle cut too. You'll have to pre fab. if you want that look. Otherwise, you won't find slanted tips (one shorter than the other), but you'll find plenty of angle cuts and no angle cut duals.

Max length on the tips should not be longer than 10" if you are using 14" body muffler. Otherwise, it will stick pass the bumper. With 10" tips and 14" muffler body, the tips will pass the bumper about 1 to 1.5 inches on each of the outside.

Mike,

Have you checked out the meet and greet section? We went to SLO this weekend...there are a lot of pics in that section.

Hi Joe,

I saw a ton! They all looked great. Problem is I don't know where I can get them from. I am not too happy with the limited selection my exhaust guy carries. Maybe when the time comes, you can send me a set

I have ACS(old style)tips on my quads and I'm changing them out to diff tips(round Black 3.7')to better match my New Custom Super Black Aicona Rims and the ACS Replica Carbon Fiber Quad Diffuser.

Triple AAA Exhaust in West LA has the best selection of tips I've seen in So Cal. It would be great if there was a giant website that offered this.

Good luck.
