I should have asked them to make mine out of stainless steel. I'd pay 400 for both installed, but not 400 each no way

The first one I bought, and I thought it was too small and re-sold it on the forum.

I like your second Idea, I wonder if it possible to weld them together, I'm gonna see ICEMAN316 tomorrow and measure his tips.
According to Eisenhaus.com the Eisenmann M5 Racing oval tips are (120mm x 77mm).....this converts to (4.72" x 3.03"). The single oval tip that I posted above is (4.5" x 3")......which is almost exactly identical (same height, 0.22" narrower). I can't remember which bumper you have on your car (M5, M-Tech, etc.), but if the Eisenmann tips fit then these should as well......as long as the person welding them to a Y does not separate them too much.

I am assuming that a muffler shop can come up with a Y-connector to make these into duals. However, there is also standard Y-Pipes like the Magnaflow in the following picture. I just don't know if the distance between the two pipes is what you would need it to be to place the two tips next to each other with a small gap. Also the Y-Pipes add quite a bit of length (10-13"), I don't know how much of that can be cut off and shortened and whether you have enough room for the added depth. The best solution may still be to have the muffler shop make duals out of those without using a generic Y-Pipe.

Is $400 to custom fabricate each tip!? By looking at the pics, I thought AAA could easily get those tips you're looking for considering all the tips that they have to choose from. It doesn't seem like such a big deal. I was just browsing AAA's website and saw under Gallery>>5 Series, they had something that looks like those oval tips on a 530i.

I e-mailed the guy pics of the RDSport 90mm quad tips to a guy at AAA and his exact reply was 'i have alot better tips than the pics.,but if that is what you want.'. So this means he should have tips that look like the RD's......hopefully not for $400 each though!

Yeah, let me know how it goes since $400 per tip sounds really steep ....The guy there quoted me via e-mail (after I sent him pics of the RD's) for a full cat back with 90mm tips (like the RD's) for a little over $1K (without mufflers though). My guess is it'll be more like $1.5K when I actually get there, but dayam 4 bills a tip is pushing it. I hope at least the guy means $400 a tip which already includes a full exhaust w/ mufflers.

I think that's the Vibrant 1406. The link that I provided is selling it for $42.88 each, while the link that Nigxdoof provided is charging only $25.83 each. >>>>>CLICK HERE<<<<<

Steven, if you succeed in getting the muffler shop to make duals out of these please let me know. I am planning on doing that as well, but not with oval tips...just with round ones. I just can't find duals in the specific style and size that I want, so I may have to use singles and have the muffler shop make them duals.
