some advice please
My flexi pipe has gone and I have gone to 5 places so far and been quoted from £490 down to £240 to have a repair
i have also been told that an oil change is also essential as part of a repair or replacement which I find odd

is it feasible to buy a repair clamp on flexi from flea bay as a decent solution as a DIY mechanic
is there enough meat behind the DPF canister to clamp on a new flexi. It looks like it would be tight to me

Also, can I ask how you identify how your car is a N47 or M47
mine is a 58 plate 520D and pre LCI I believe as it has the old style trip computer etc
