Euro red tail reflector things

You know the red reflectors on the back of an e60? They're taken away on the US version (as many of you know), but...
from the pictures I've seen, they're just black. When you turn on your lights/hit the brakes, will they turn red (aka did they make it a light)... or did they just remove the reflectors altogether?

I already got 1 pair of red reflector for my new 545iA. it is my first step to dress up my baby... You can search this topic here, and you will find how to replace it. I will use a fishing line method

some of the members just got their '05 e60 and they said the reflectors are matching the body color now. but some said they still have the black ones. so they ordered them from their dealers/bekkers. based on 530iii, he said it's in the '05 accessories brochure now and i kind of remember they are $11.90 each. cheaper than before.

[/quote]ken o just mentioned in the other post and said he has '05 545 and they are color coded. so i think 525 & 530 still have the black inserts and 545 has the color coded one. please correct me if i'm wrong.

Just got my Alpine White 545i SMG and Yes the reflectors are painted body color
