I'm not so sure. If ESS is stating $7.5K for stage one, stage 2 with the extra heat exchange mainfold, cooler plus plumbing will bump it to 8-8.5K easily - add installation and you come to 10K very quickly.
I doubt many will go for stage 1 - root type superchargers, while not producing any internal compression, raise air temp quite a bit - the heat exchanger on stage 2 is very beneficial.
There are only 3 installers in Europe - which is rather concerning if one needs aftersales service. How is the US covered ?

Who knows, they might realize the potential for higher sales by opening up at a lower price point and you'll be good. Hang in there AlexFW. I'm in the same boat actually.

Is anyone serious about this? $9k+ installed on an "old" car with an open differential? Why would someone do this vs. all the other options out there?
Just asking- I'm as crazy as anyone and I would have considered it 5 years ago on my car but it wasn't a possibility then. I think this might be a case of too late and too much $.
For me anyway. $5k is different as it let's you get into an LSD and a new clutch for us 6MT guys because stock won't take it.
Would love to hear a great story that would convince me.

545 has been finished and we are close to finishing fine tuning on the 550. We are estimating stage 2 to be $8,995 MSRP. The TVS blower used in this kit is the same style blower used in the Corvette ZR1 and the cadillac CTSV. This blower is extremely efficient, reliable and very quiet.
Tuning this motor for forced induction has been a very complex and time consuming project but the finished product has been well worth the effort. This kit provides very linear power delivery with OEM driveability, it is one of the finest products we have built to date.
