Good information by all who contributed.I agree with all that was said.It's very hard to make noticeable gains with chips and air filters and exhaust mods with the modern computer controlled cars.The major exception is turbo charged cars.It is relatively easy to reprogram for more boost which will give large HP gains for a reasonable cost.

alright, i fell for it again. didn't notice how old this thread was and started reading from the top. (just like znod's post at the AZ high end mall with all his snapshots of exotics). came to stream's post and thought, he's back...then listened to his attached mp3 and couldn't stop laughing for about 5 mins....oldie but goodie..sorry, nothing to contribute on this thread.

Because of the knowledge gained from this board, I know that all mods sort of a supercharger will not do much for the 4.4 V8. Hence, I've saved a lot of money, which in turn will all be lost in Vegas a few weeks.
