I was driving home today on the M mode when my car started spurting and i got an "Engine Malfucntion" Warning message that said "Overloading the engine can cause catalytic converter problems" Does anyone know what this means? I did just install the RPI exhaust, could this be the reason?

I would suggest contacting the guys at RPI, they might know your problem. GL!

Catalytic converter failure
Is it related to the RPI Exhaust?

no now relax

the exhaust is not a full exhaust, it stops at the resonator so its just a muffler with pipping.

its the converter which has nothing to do with the muffler for failure

The exhaust sounds great and I love the it, I am by no means stating that the exhaust caused this malfunction, I just thought to ask cause I know the catalytic conv. Is connected to the exhaust and since that is the only mod iv done, I just assumed it might be related. I'm no mechanic but I know some basics, I'm for sure taking the car in to get it checked out, I just hope they don't give me shit for my after market exhaust......
