I don't lose any sleep over it, but I happen to be missing the passenger side rubber molding located above the radiator fan assembly. Does anyone know where I can see about replacing this?
I looked at part sites and couldn't find a reference to it.
Here's a picture of what I'm referring to, as I don't really know what it's called. Part outlined in red.

Hmmm... looks like someone has cut it in the middle. It should be one part (part #20 RealOEM.com * BMW E60N 535i M Trim panel, bumper, front(SA715))

It isn't the #20 part above, which is the black plastic piece which trims the top of the bumper. The part I'm describing actually looks to attach to the top of that piece, but it is flexible rubber. It doesn't 'attach' so much as just wedge into a grove on top of the #20 part.
There is one on each side of the latch.

Yeah, mine is also two pieces rubber but there is a single mount piece that resides below the rubber. Not sure what its supposed to do but would guess wind noise or direction, something like that. If its missing, why don't you just go buy a replacement? I would, but I wouldn't take a vacation day to do it, just when I was in the area of a dealer to get it. My guess is that it will need to be ordered so maybe call and pay in advance then collect it when it arrives and save a trip.

Yeah...mine is the same. I'm missing one of the rubber pieces, which i think is to keep bugs from slipping up under the hood or something of that nature.
I was inquiring as to the name of the piece or where I could order online.

If you go to realoem.com you can search for parts. Put your VIN in and under vehicle trim (51) you will see the options for M and non M etc as you scroll through. I attached the link that I think it could be but you should check. There is also a picture to the right of the part number. mine has a mounting plate and two rubber strips, so three pieces. It looks as though this is sold in a complete set for around 15.00. Thats cheap, my first guess would have been more around 50.00. And for that price just call the dealer and have them order it, this way you know you will get the correct part. BTW, it's not a bug seal, it would have to be something for air flow directing and or just sealing out the eng bay. Perhaps noise too.

That's it....
Your correct....I was looking for this as a single piece, but I suppose you have to get it all together, which is the base and the two rubber pieces attached to the top of it..... For $15, that's not bad.
