I did my varoom next to the Walmart parking lot. Had to wait until late for the shoppers to clear out to give me a clear run. Too bad it's a dead end. But for your idling sound clip, I would recommend setting the camera very near the exhaust. Then we can use our computer volume control to set different volume levels. If you can't get a helper, use the tripod.

Sounds really good. Does anyone have a sound clip of a standard exhaust for us non e60 owners to compare it to. Would love to hear a 545 with standard exhaust.
