I want to purchase exhaust for my 2005 545i. But wondering which one I should get, Eisenmann Race Exhaust or DINAN Exhaust?

If go with Eisenmann Race Exhaust, should I go with regular 76mm tips or 83mm tips?

Any suggestion will help. Thank you.

In my opinion, I would go with Eisenmann exhaust over the Dinan. The finish of the Eisenmann is 100x better than Dinan. Eisenmann if I am not mistaken also has the valve the factory exhaust utilizes. Both seem very over priced for the HP gain. I am going with a custom quad setup this weekend.

I had the Dinan exhaust on my 545 and the tips got discolored pretty quickly. For the M5/M6 exhausts however, they created a new "cool tip" design that supposedly avoids the discoloration. That said, I did love the low rumble, throaty sound.

I ordered my Eisenmann Race but have not received it yet. In case you go with Eisenmann, Eurosportdesign.com has a group buy going. Its about 13% discount.

I went with Dinan's exhaust. In my opinion, the Eisenmann Race Exhaust is too loud and cheapens a BMW. You don't want to sound like some of these loud Hondas with small engines and loud exhausts... you have a BMW man!

+1 on that! That's why I went the Dinan route with my former 550 to keep her civilized ... and quieter than my 15 year old Accord.

I would love to see some details on your setup when its done if you dont mind. How much, stock bumper, what mufflers, pics, etc. Thanks, can't wait to see this.

LOL. Totaly disagree on that. Ive heard race exhaust on 530 and its a very nice deep throaty humm at low revs and during highway cruise it never bothers the cabin plus its not too loud outside either.

The problem with DINAN is that there is too much fake stuff out there with this brand name. Its too common, somehow takes away the class factor.

+1..I have the Eisenmann Race and its not loud at all....just as mentioned nice deep throaty humm....when I first bought it I was also afraid it will be loud...but its not....I think if you remove the resonators...then its loud.
