Thumbs up

Hey guys,
I've been looking for a shop that I can bring my car to in the tri-state area that flashes my ecu.
I have an 04 530i. I spoke to a few of my Audi buddies, and they said they took their car to a shop out in Long Island to flash their ecu.
Anyone have any experience or know of a shop in the tri-state area that I could contact.
Any info will be helpful...I'm trying to avoid sending out my ecu for programming out in the westcoast.

Thanks in advance.

Ravie,

You can contact Bruce at TuningTechnology Motorsports in Farmingdale. He is the one who did my 530 a couple of years ago. Tell him I referred you and he'll give you a great deal.

As for the power gains, I'm not sure it's worth the money on a 2004 530. It really just depends on what the overall cost is. With 225 HP stock, you're probably not looking at more than an additonal 10HP and a few extra pounds of TQ. Ask Bruce what the cost is and then make the decision.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot Calton!!!
I've been talking to one of my mech. and playing with the idea of doing headers.
He suggests a flash first and go from there.
Ill give Bruce a call.

Thanks again!!!

I think I paid around $600 or so on my 2007 530, which is the same engine as the 2006 530. I did notice a difference.

Calton,

You have the digits for Bruce by any chance?

So, having done it on your '07 530, would you say it's worth the $$$ for an 06 530 with manual? Been thinking what to do to give mine a little extra ooomph
