Unhappy

Hi all

I am new in this forum.
I have had my 525i for over 2 years now. I am planing to upgrade my brake and I have about $850us to spend on the new brake.
I like to know do any of you use the EBC Brake Disc and Pads (green or red stuff)? Are they any good? or is there a better 1 within this price.

I have similar question. would the EBC yellow pad and disc be fine for BMW 545i, or the BMW official disc and brakes are better?

Looks like someone found Pingu's first post, hhaha. I'm using EBC green and its fine, I don't feel the difference with OEM with the EBC as far as with braking, besides the price but EBC seems to have less brake dust on my rims.

Doesn't EBC recommend Red Stuff pads for horsepower applications above 250HP?

yes that right but even cars with only 200hp+ can used the red stuff.
you car still drive at 235km with 192hp but need good brake.
it dose not have to be 250hp+
2 members are using them in HK and say they are ok for road use.
