Those are obvious fakes.
Just get a pic of a stock lci car's tails and compare it to those. If you need help pointing out the differences, let me know.

Do the taillights have the BMW logo or a BMW part number stamped on them? I haven't seen many parts in these cars that don't have one or the other imprinted on the part. Did the seller list the item as a genuine BMW part? If not, then you really don't have much of a case.

I took out my oem and they have HELLA mark on them as well as MADE IN GERMANY and a bunch of other things.
This crap is made in TAIWAN , had to call my bank to dispute the charges. Ebay took seller side because they dont cover "not as driscribed" items.
Got a second opinion from a local shop, they made me a letter to present to my credit card issuer.

Those look like depo's lights, and depo lights are made in Germany. But you said it's made in taiwan, i guess it's a knock off.

just from the pictures, they look like fake aftermarket.
You can see inside, that they used the raised silver notches to separate the lights, and I"m guessing there are a few rolls of led bulbs in the valley of the separators.
Does your lights look like these? if so, they are fake aftermarket
