My first mod! I just got confirmation of shipping for a used cold weather steering wheel I won for [drumroll..................] $5.00, plus about $14 in shipping. I figure that if its not in good condition, I can have it recovered and wont have to give up my car for a few days while it gets done. Now I can just switch it out. My wheel is discoloring like a lot of other people's. Ill post pics when it comes in next week.

Do you have heated steering already? Or are you just going to create a switch?

Congrats on the steering wheel.. but that doesn't look like one for an E60.. is it?

I have a heated steering wheel in the car, but it's falling apart like a lot of other people's. I think if you were going to retrofit, you would need a few more items than just the switch, but I am sure someone else on this board can give you a better answer if that is what you are trying to do.
