Default E61 Wagon LPFP Install

A few weeks ago I finally got around to getting the low pressure fuel pump in. I decided to film it with my mechanic, and make a little DIY style video. If you have an E60/E61, check it out and let me know what you think.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The link should be working now. The lpfp is not a difficult task, but it is something that you should take proper precautions with (ie. draining the gas, having the correct tools). A lock ring removal tool will make your job much easier, however if you do not have one you can use two pry bars, or tach up your own home made one with some scrap metal. Additionally, needle nose pliers are a must for removing many of the return lines and venturi scavenge assembly. If you are going the performance route, I would suggest you investigate Fuel Pump Upgrades and Tuning . While not listed on their website, they do build lpfp kits for our E61s, and they're extremely competitively priced, imo the best bang for your buck. Reach out to Gilbert if you're interested. He built me a stage 2.5/3 lpfp for a fantastic price.
