I'm looking at an E61 (535xit) either an '08 or '09, haven't decided yet.


Looking at adding some factory options that weren't included on the cars when new.


1. HUD. I found 1 car in California with this, but it was sold by the time I got the email sent.
2. Paddle shifters
3. Change iDrive out for full nav, including larger screen
4. M-Tech aerodynamics kit (any difference against full M5 body kit?)
5. Folding M mirrors.

Not planning on doing front fendors, or quad exhaust.

I'm familiar and comfortable with the E39, but new to the E60/61. I also realize that there would be coding required.

The other thing, and I add this to consolidate threads, N54 carbon buildup and turbo replacement. If the car has ~80K miles, how much work should I plan on putting in? Assume rode hard and put away wet.
