E61 Fitting dension or similar

Hi
I have just bought an 05 525d E61 Touring. It has a CD player, and according to the spec has '694 Preparation for CD changer'. It does NOT have a mutichanger though. Does anyone know if this means I can fit an iPod through some sort of device like a Dension 500? And is it do-able by DIY? I have built a computer so should be able to plug it in, but don't want any costly mistakes. Any thoughts / hints?Many thanks. In the same vein, can one retrofit a hands free kit so that it integrates with iDrive.

You can do GW500 DIY install real easy since you have the 694 prep but will still need the dealer to enable it to show up on the iDrive.
