Default E61 535ix AT STOCK Looking for a slight boost, need some help

Hi All,
My family wagon is almost hitting 100k (96k right now) and I want to give it a little boost. Ive done Injectors, oil housing gasket replaced, control arm, rear axel seals, valve cover/gasket, water pump, and the car runs great. This is a daily driver and a family car so i need the mod to be reliable. Looking to get around 75-100hp gain. Any suggestions.
Thanks!
car is stock btw

Keep up with all the maintenance on it and add an MHD stage 1 tune. You can do the dual cone intake, intercooler, charge pipes, but it's not a huge return on investment over just tuning what's already there.

Josh hits it spot on. As you can see below, I have done what I regard as a base level Stage 1 upgrade and could not be happier. Only difference for me is my tune is a COBB and no intercooler. The car has never had a single issue related to the upgrades and tune and the performance puts a big grin on my face every time the right foot goes down. I now have 85,000 miles on mine and the love affair is as strong as ever.

Id say start with a tune: JB4, MHD and Cobb are all options. JB4 and Cobb are piggybacks which are plug n play whereas MHD needs to be flashed. Most are known to get 75-100hp at the crank

Personally I have on my N54 cars a JB4 with an MHD back end flash; Best of both worlds. JB4 isn't vin locked and can be easily removed with just labour. Has the option of different tune and remove the tune in less than 5 seconds; Plus a bunch of other safety features. Adding on the MHD fuel/timing maps I will say I quote like it.

Good point, definitely go one step colder on plugs. General consensus is .022 gap.
