I have a bmw 545i 2004 E60. I was replacing a bulb when I found the wires were so brittle that insulation was falling a part in my hands. Now all the wires are bare with no insulation. I am afraid they will create a short in the headlght and burn something. I wanted to know if any one has any xenon headlights for sale?

I have an 05 with the same issue, I just removed the headlight and taped them up. I considered cutting the wires, slipping on some heat shrink and solder it back together, but decided it wasn't worth the time.

I tried to electrical tape some of them but every time I try to repair 1 wire the other break. I am considering to remove the guts of the headlight and replacing some of the damaged wires and shrink tubing the rest. But before I do that I wanted to see if any one has some head lights for a good price. If not I will follow up my post to let you know how it goes.
