Looking for some feedback from anyone who has experience with this.
Thinking about making a change to the rear bumper on my pre-LCI veh. I currently have an Oem Mtec rear bumper (with quad diffuser) installed.
I'm thinking of switching to oem M5 rear. Should I also consider an aftermarket M5 style rear ? Not looking for the cheap way out - want quality, fitment and appearance.
Thoughts?

If you can afford to go oem then I think the oem m5 rear would be your best bet for both appearance and fitment. The mstyle rears never look as good IMO, and if you wanted to sometime, with the oem rear you could mess around with diffusers and such that dont fit the aftermarket ones. GL

OEM all the way. The after market ones have that funny bump in the middle (between the exhaust) that seems to be consistently there no matter how many times the vendor says it's fixed.

Yup, I agree. That's the reason that when I got a chance to get an OEM M5 rear, I jumped on it. I really didn't like the hump in the middle of the reps. On my front bumper I could live with it because it's really not noticeable, but in the rear your eyes are DRAWN to the exhausts, so seeing that hump between them would REALLY make it stand out. Get OEM and be MUCH happier
