E60 Pre-LCI bulbs 45 watt? 60 watt?
 

I recently noticed that Ebay and Amazon have high power Angel Eye bulbs available in 32 watt, 45 watt, and 60 watt for pre-LCI E60's. Has anyone tried these? I bought 10 watt bulbs a while ago and they're better than the stock yellow but not all that bright during the day. The 10 watt ones I have claim to have 750 lumens coming out of them. The 32w claim 2400 lumens. Some of the 45 watt ones on Ebay claim to have 3500 lumens. The 60 watt ones I saw have a magnifier lens and claim to have 12 LEDS in them but no claim on how many lumens they have.
Does anyone has any experience with these newer high power AE bulbs?

I've been involved in making super bright angel eyes for a different model and can say they're all lying about the power output and lumens produced. The car simply doesn't not allow more power to be drawn than what's already allowed because it thinks there's a short circuit and shuts down that circuit. Also, if they were really 60W, they would need a minimum of a 42W heatsink - for reference, here is what a 50w heatsink looks like: 1 pc up to 50W Watt LED Aluminium Heatsink Round XL 10W 20W 30W 45W 50W | eBay

No matter what, none of them can draw more than 10W, full stop.

I have pre lci xenons and mtecv3 (supposedly the brightest) and am still disappointed with the daytime visibility. Going to see if I can crack daytime visibility for my own car for once! I want to match the F10 :D

Do you think it would be better if I bought the 45w or 60w version and added a control relay to the circuit to help boost the power draw? Basically, the AE circuit of the car would only be powering the coil of the relay instead of the bulbs themselves. I probably would need to add a resistor to the relay end of the circuit so it doesn't throw out error messages. If I did it that way, I wonder if the bulbs would be at their highest potential for brightness? Plus,would they get red hot in the closed housing? 60w has got to generate some serious heat after a while even using LEDs.
