Hi guys,
I just wanted to know how many of you are running 18 or 19" rims. I am thinking of running 19" rims. I am just a little concerned about the ride comfort.
Thanks
Eric

Hey Bro,
Thanks for the info.
I am writing to you from Singapore. I used to live in Hawaii for a few years, went to HPU. It was GREAT!!!!
Used to stay at some apartments on Kapiolani Blvd., then moved to a studio apartment at Discovery Bay(used to be a Chinese restaurant called Dynasty there) then finally stayed at the Honolulu Park Place.
Had some excellent memories there....
Have a nice day.

p.s. I am thinking of getting the Style 128 rims from BMW, I prefer one piece rims... simple to clean. Do you have any other recommendations?

I have 18's on my sport 530. With the lowering, it looks and drives fine.
don't know about the comfort trade-off for 19's or 20's.

i guess it depends on the individual on what looks best, i opted for the 19's for a little bit more rubber than 20's, and with the sport suspension lower by 0.6 inch, it does fill in the wheel well enough when the car is running, for some reason, when parked there is a noticeable gap between the top of the tire and the fender lip.

hi! i find the ride acceptable. good feel for the road..i just did an 800 mile trip last weekend from virginia to pennsylvania...didn't miss a beat! i had to carefully make my choice as these wheels and tires don't come cheap. i wouldn't settle for replicas as quality is something i need to be sure of. to answer your query about the ride being harsh or acceptable, i must say that for both city and highway driving - i find it really to be acceptable, at 35 series on the front and 30 series on the rears, i have no complaints whatsoever! the facotry sport wheels that came were in 40 series dunlop run flats, it seemed too hard and not much road feel. good luck in making your choice.
