My Ride: E60 530i 2005 model:
Installed: Dinan tuning chip, M5 Body, 20" Hartge Type II Classic, MagnaFlow "X" type custom quad type outlet 4quad custom Oval tips with resonator, tinted 15%, AFE Air Filter, LCI taillights w/ Bruce cable, Cross Drilled Rotors, M5 type mirrors, M5 spoilers, Hartge trunk insignia (OEM)
Need some help with comments on the look of OEM M5 mirrors, I recently installed a set of M5 mirrors on my 530i 2005 model, but the driver side and passenger side does not balance well. The driver side mirror extension bar is about 4cm long vs. the passenger side 6cm, plus the passenger side mirror housing seems to fold back more than the driver side? Is this the way it is? The seller told me that OEM is like that otherwise you can't see the rear view from the driver seat? I have attached some pics and hope anyone who have the same retrofit could give me some advice?

Looks fine to me too, but those are not OEM right? They seem to be the replicas.

Yes, these are replicas. The seller sent me pics stating that it was made according to M5 OEM so fitment was meant to be like that...

The lower portion came with carbon fiber finish.
